All Purpose Seasoning Blend

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup onion powder
  • 1/2 cup pink salt
  • 1/2 cup coarse ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup paprika
  • 1/2 cup dried parsley

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients.
  2. Mix well until all the spices are evenly combined.
  3. Transfer the seasoning mix to an airtight container.
  4. Label the container with the name and date.
  5. Store the container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

BBQ Seasoning Blend

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cane sugar
  • 1 cup regular sugar
  • 1 cup kosher salt
  • 1 cup black pepper
  • 1 cup chili powder
  • 1 cup paprika
  • 1 cup turmeric
  • 1 cup cayenne
  • 1 cup garlic powder
  • 1 cup onion powder

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients.
  2. Stir well to ensure that all of the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Transfer the seasoning blend to an airtight container.
  4. Store the container in a cool, dry place until ready to use.
  5. Use the seasoning blend to season meats, vegetables, or any other foods that you plan to grill or smoke.

Note: Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper used in the recipe to your preferred level of spiciness. You can also add or remove any other spices based on your personal taste preferences.

Cheesy Baked Potato Salad


Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs small red potatoes, cleaned and diced
  • 1 bunch green onions, diced
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 pack thick sliced bacon, cooked and diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Dream Shak All Purpose Seasoning Blend, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Place diced potatoes in a pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and let cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, softened cream cheese, and Dream Shak All Purpose Seasoning Blend. Mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine cooked bacon, green onions, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Reserve some bacon and onions for garnish.
  5. Add the cooled potatoes to the bacon and cheese mixture. Pour the cream mixture over the top and gently fold together until everything is evenly coated.
  6. Check for seasoning and add more Dream Shak All Purpose Seasoning Blend as desired.
  7. Transfer the potato salad to a casserole dish. Top with more shredded cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from oven and garnish with reserved bacon and green onions.
  10. Serve hot, or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Orange-Ginger Glazed Ham

Igredients:

  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons minced ginger
  • 1/2 cup spicy mustard
  • Whole cloves
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 orange
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 bone-in ham (8-10 lbs)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a large saucepan, combine the orange juice, brown sugar, minced ginger, spicy mustard, whole cloves, butter, and water. Bring to a simmer and cook until the orange slices are tender. Turn off the heat and let the glaze stand for 10 minutes.
  3. Diagonally score the ham on the top and bottom, then place it in a large roasting pan.
  4. Baste the ham with the glaze, using a brush to evenly coat the surface. Pour the remaining glaze over the ham and into the pan.
  5. Cover the ham with aluminum foil and bake for 1.5 hours on the middle rack, basting every 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the glaze is sticky and caramelized.
  7. Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. If desired, tent the ham with foil while it rests.
  8. Serve the ham warm or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Easy Coleslaw

Ingredients:

  • 14 ounce package shredded cabbage
  • 2 heaping tablespoons of tangy mayo
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt (or to taste)
  • Coarse black pepper (to taste)
  • Dried or fresh dillweed (optional)

Instructions:
